DSL Filter For Phone Devices:
Use one of these filters on every phone device in your home including fax machine, caller ID devices, and TV set top boxes.
DSL Filter For The Gateway:
Begin by connecting this phone filter to the phone jack closest to your 2Wire gateway. If you have a phone, answering or fax machine, satellite TV equipment, or other phone device in this jack location, plug it into the side of the filter labeled PHONE. Use the jack labeled DSL/HPNA to connect the gray data cable to the 2Wire gateway's DSL port. Please note if the closest phone jack to your 2Wire gateway is a wall mounted phone, use the Wall Mount phone filter. Use the jack located at the bottom of the filter to connect to the DSL port on the gateway, and the jack on the face of the filter to connect to the phone jack.
